Throughout its thirteen year history, the Lord has given Covenant Theological Seminary the wonderful opportunity of training called individuals for the work of the ministry. Our programs utilize traditional classroom and self-directed training to accomplish this vision.

Recently, CTS has been given the unique privilege of working with members and leaders of Grace Church who are presently inmates at the Maryland Correctional Training Center. These thirty dedicated men comprise some of the leadership of the Grace Church. In addition, there are also other inmates in the program who have a desire to pursue theological training at an advanced level.

From its inception in January of 2003, the MCTC program has sought to present comprehensive, quality theological training. The goal has been to train these men to be a competent blessing in their present environment. A second goal has been to allow them to achieve a degree for future ministry opportunities they might have after incarceration.

The following information is given so that you can take a first-hand look at the MCTC degree program and can prayerfully consider what role you, your church, or your organization might play in its ongoing financial support.
