About Covenant Theological Seminary
Covenant
Theological Seminary seeks to prepare called persons in pursuit of
excellence in ministry. CTS meets the educational requirements for
the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities
and is specifically listed as an S.246.084(3) authorization
college; is a member in good standing of the Florida Council of
Private Colleges, Inc.; and is a member school of the
Association
of Christian Schools International.
On-campus Study
Each fall and spring semester
Covenant Theological Seminary offers evening courses in a regular
classroom environment at the main campus in Tallahassee, Florida,
and at our extension school in Rockville, Maryland.
Self-Directed
Education
From its very inception, CTS
has offered high quality, self-directed theological education at a
reasonable cost. CTS is structured strategically with a goal of
serving every student in his or her unique geographical and
ministry context.
Curriculum Philosophy
To enhance the student’s
theological and biblical foundation, "core courses"
form the foundation of each student’s educational program. In
addition, each student selects a major concentration: Theological
Studies, Biblical Studies, or Missiology. Elective courses are
selected which uniquely enhance the student’s unique educational
goals.
